The model recently slammed trolls on Twitter for accusing that she once flew on the late disgraced financier’s private jet. Teigen vehemently denied the accusation amid her own denouncing of Ghislaine Maxwell– Epstein’s gal pal. This caused her to block more than a million accounts to escape the noise.

In a statement, Teigen mentioned that she blocked over one million accounts in one day. Despite this, she said that she was still flooded with what she called “sick psychopaths.”

Teigen also declared that she will do her best to stop entertaining the trolls. They also accused her of the common practice of buying Twitter followers.

Before she announced blocking conspiracy theorists, the model admitted that the conspiracy theory linking her to Epstein caused her fear for her family’s safety. She also added that she had been called a pedophile online.

Moreover, Teigen said in a now-deleted tweet. That she does not get why everyone thinks she was guilty because she was defensive. She then mentioned that she deleted 60,000 tweets from her accounts because she cannot stand the conspiracy theorists’ comments and is worried about her family.

Epstein Has Also Been Reported to Have Close Ties With the Prince of Spain

The model found herself caught in the middle of the controversy after sharing Epstein’s jet’s flight logs featuring her name. This came shortly after Maxwell’s arrest. Epstein has been accused that he victimized dozens of women and girls for many years. Moreover, the British socialite is accused of helping the late financier lure girls that he would sexually abuse.

On the other hand, Prince Andrew, the prince of Britain, has also been linked and accused of having close ties with the deceased financier. According to the online news outlet The Telegraph, Maxwell introduced Epstein in 1999 to the Duke of York. The news outlet also added that Prince Andrew is last seen to have met with Maxwell at Buckingham Palace last year. The said meeting happened two weeks after US prosecutors publicized that they plan to reopen their investigation into Epstein.

Prince Andrew and Epstein met in 1999. The extend of their relationship remains unclear. However, the two of them were seen together in Central Park in late 2010. During that time, the financier was already a convicted sex offender.

Millions of Twitter Followers Are Hard To Ignore

Months after Epstein’s death, Prince Andrew released statements from Buckingham Palace against him and his crimes.

In November, Prince Andrew had what was described as a “no holds barred interview” with the journalist Emily Maitlis. There, the prince spoke out about his relationship with the financier.

Prince Andrew and Epstein first met through Maxwell and the royal stayed more than once at Epstein’s various properties.

Andrew, the 60-year-old Britain prince, denied the accusations that he had sex with Virginia Roberts Giuffre– one of the late financier’s main accusers. Giuffre claimed that she had sex with a British prince thrice. One happened when she was 17.

However, Prince Andrew denied this accusation, saying that he had no recollection of ever meeting Giuffre.

Furthermore, the prince admitted that it was not right to visit Epstein in New York City in 2010. Yet, the Duke of York said that he is not regretting his friendship with Epstein.

Who is Jeffrey Epstein

Jeffrey Epstein is a financier who has ties to politicians, celebrities, and even royalties. He was arrested last year due to multiple disturbing charges. He died by suicide in jail in the same year that he was arrested. However, questions about his life and crimes are left unanswered.

Federal prosecutors charged Epstein on July 8, 2019, with one count of sex trafficking of a minor as well as one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. The now-deceased financier pled not guilty on both charges. However, his bail petition was denied, and he stayed in jail until August 10.

On the 10th of August, several media outlets confirmed that Epstein apparently committed suicide and died in jail. Still, many questions about his life, crimes, and wealth remain. However, these questions could be revealed in the new case filed by Ghislaine Maxwell, his long-time associate, arrested in July this year.

Epstein was a math teacher at the Elite Dalton School in New York City. In the 1970s, he worked at Bear Stearns, an investment bank, before founding his own firm. In 1982, J. Epstein and Co. were born.

The financier has widely been called a billionaire. However, Forbes disputed this claim and said that he was more likely worth a fraction of that. After Epstein’s death, the last will to sign just death before committing suicide revealed that he was worth $577,672,654.

Conclusion

In 2008, Epstein was charged with a felony of solicitation of prostitution involving a minor, to which he pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison. He served 13 months and was granted work release. This allowed him to commute to an office outside the jail for six days every week. Besides, he registered as a sex offender.

On October 30, about a month after his death, a pathologist said that he believes that Epstein did not die by suicide. According to Dr. Michael Baden announced that the 66-year-old financier had several injuries. These injuries are extremely unusual for someone who committed suicide by hanging. He then claimed that the injuries might have come from homicidal strangulation.

However, the New York Times said that Dr. Barbara Sampson, the city’s Chief Medical Examiner, disputed Dr. Baden’s claim. Notably, Dr. Sampson is the one who previously ruled Epstein’s death as a suicide.

NPS reported that the late controversial financier’s death ended the criminal case. However, a number of his alleged victims have gone on to file a case against his estate.
