InterTwitter (intertwitter.com) is a Twitter follower and social signal provider based in Houston, USA. They have established themselves somewhere in the mid-range of providers over the years that they have been in business.
Their Twitter follower packages start at an average rate of $14 for 1,000 followers. This puts them at the average expense compared to most of the best providers we’ve seen, such as those on our list of the top Twitter follower providers, but with no added benefit.
InterTwitter has their webpage divided up into very easy to understand service sections. For their Twitter followers plans they offer:
- 1,000 followers for $14
- 2,500 followers for $26
- 5,000 followers for $43
- 10,000 followers for $79
- 25,000 followers for $137
- 50,00 followers for $257
- 75,000 followers for $375
- 100,000 followers for $487
This is a pretty wide range of packages on offer. There could be an option below 1,000 followers, at around 500 followers, for the new account which doesn’t want to look too successful in their first month of tweeting.
InterTwitter has split their Twitter follower plans up into two levels of speed as far as delivery rates go. Any plan of 5,000 or under is delivered in 2-3 days. Any plan over 5,000 Twitter followers is delivered in 5-6 days.
Everything else about InterTwitter fits in the mid-range of provider quality. The Twitter accounts that you actually get are about average, with most having profile photos and short bios. From a distance they appear genuine, but look at them closely at all and they seem odd.
Their retention rates are also about average. They have a one year retention guarantee, and so far they have kept our numbers near the number that we ordered.
Other facts about InterTwitter
InterTwitter also provide Twitter retweets and favorites. Their Twitter retweet service claims to have ‘established’ accounts with authority that can actually spread your messages to real people. After using the service ourselves, it remains to be seen if that is actually true as it was no different from other retweet services we have used before.
Besides Twitter, InterTwitter also provides social metrics for:
These additional services cover the whole spectrum of social signals on offer at for each platform. They are a truly Customer service wise, InterTwitter make a big deal on their website about being available 24/7.
FAQ and Customer Support
If you read their FAQ page you’ll find that they only guarantee a response to customer service questions within 24 hours.
Their live chat feature is the biggest disappointment on the customer service side. After submitting a question, we have often found that you get the old “It seems to be taking longer than usual. Please leave us an offline message.” screen from them more often than you get an actual answer. It would have been better if they just shut down when they were offline as so many other providers do.
Update: They have since shut down their live chat. Though disappointing, it is better than leading people to believe a live agent will help them when there will not be one.
Of note is the fact that they do have a phone number to contact for support. The area code is in Houston, USA. This is a long distance call for us, so we haven’t tried it, but you should give it a try if you’re local and really need to get hold of them.
They also have a blog which has not been updated in over a year. This leads them to look as if they are no longer in business. A few new posts would help solve that easily.
Conclusion on the quality of Intertwitter
InterTwitter is an average Twitter follower provider with slightly higher prices than most mid-range providers. While there is no particular reason to get all that excited about what they do, their customer service issues, and slightly higher prices, could lead you to wanting to choose someone else.
With their experience in the industry, it is safe to say that you can trust them to provide the Twitter followers you purchase, and live up to their retention guarantee. Overall, they don’t offer anything that really makes them standout, and you may want to look at more options on our list of the best providers. Their lack of care for their blog also makes them look like they’ve set up their website, and are leaving it running for whatever money they can squeeze out of it.
